Há quem oiça o Mezzanine e fique maravilhado com a Teardrop, especialmente pela voz. Essa voz é de Elizabeth Frasier, vocalista dos Cocteau Twins. E do pouco que já ouvi, este é o álbum mais cativante. As melodias são etéreas e o termo “Dream Pop” aplica-se muito bem, já que é uma sonoridade especial e que atinge um estado mental mais espacial e profundo. “Saiu” ao mundo em 1990 e ainda hoje mantém um som fresco e entusiasmante.

Novo trabalho do duo britânico, e posso já dizer que está fabuloso! Consegue manter o estilo e a sonoridade tradicional já da banda, mas consegue também dar um passo em frente e fazer algo diferente. Com vozes como Damon Albarn (Blur), Tunde Adebimpe (TV on the Radio), Guy Garvey (Elbow) ou até o conhecido colaborador Horace Andy, e ainda as vozes femininas fantásticas da Hope Sandoval e da Martina, o álbum consegue mesmo dar uma diversidade intensa e cativante.
